LONDON 2012 ‘SHOULD’VE GONE TO SPECSAVERS’

Specsavers this week launched a quick-witted, humorous press ad jumping on the drama around the error that took place at the Women’s Olympic Football at Hampden Park, Glasgow on Wednesday when the country flags were mixed up for North and South Korea at a football match.

It’s not the first funny piece of viral marketing we’ve seen in the run-up to the Olympics, and I hope it’s not the last! More of these please, and less desperate pointless attempts from certain firms to link themselves with London 2012.
